Shea is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist specializing in Medical Massage. With hundreds of hours of continuing education, including certification in Orthopedic Massage and Testing, she has had continued success helping people with injuries and chronic pathologies reduce or eliminate pain. In her practice, she uses modalities such as Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Connective Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, various stretching techniques, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage. Every session is specifically tailored towards each client’s needs, as well as their in-office plan of care and suggestions for self-care at home. Her goal is to provide the most efficient route to relief in order to save her clients time, money and discomfort during their course of therapy.
Shea has received training under world renowned instructors including Aaron Mattes (Active Isolated Stretching), Erik Dalton (Myoskeletal Alignment Technique), Whitney Lowe (Orthopaedic Massage), Art Riggs (Advanced Deep Tissue Massage), Tom Myers (Myofascial Release) and Dr. Ross Turchinanov (Medical Massage). She received her certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy for Lymphedema through the rigorous 135 hour program through ACOLS.
A Florida native, Shea makes her home in Sarasota with her husband and three sons. She is passionate about improving the lives of others and is dedicated to continuing her education to become a better resource and therapist for her clients.
Nancy is a graduate of Manatee Technical Institute’s Massage Therapy Program, earning her license in 2011. In addition, she is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD/C). She is also trained in Medical Massage having studied under Dr. Ross Turchaninov, and is committed to continuing education.
Nancy’s previous experience includes earning a B.A. in Physical Education, working as a Physical Education teacher, and as a Physical Therapy Assistant in pool therapy. Nancy is an ABMP Certified Therapist (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals).
Nancy believes strongly that a relaxing, focused Swedish Massage session is very therapeutic, but she is also trained in Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Integrative Pregnancy Massage. She is committed to customizing each session towards the client’s goals and loves to educate her clients about the amazing human body! She believes strongly in the importance of massage for better health and appreciates the opportunity to help her clients live a healthier life.
Nancy is originally from the Philadelphia area but has lived in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for over 30 years after moving here from Indiana. Currently she splits her time between Florida and New Hampshire, licensed in both states.
Melissa Kelly, LMT

Melissa received her initial massage education and licensure in Mitchell, South Dakota. Before coming to MTC in June of 2016, Melissa had been working in spas and in conjunction with chiropractors since starting her practice in 2011.
In addition to providing massage services at MTC, Melissa is also the Director of Business Development and regularly networks with women’s and local organizations promoting the benefits of massage and the work of the Manual Therapy Foundation non-profit.
Melissa incorporates many modalities of massage into her approach allowing her to deliver an individualized treatment to each person for great results. She loves to add stretch, tandem-yoga, and Thai techniques to maximize range of motion, increase circulation, and restore energy flow in the body. She spent time in Thailand in the fall of 2016 to further her education in Thai Massage.
Melissa is looking forward to her opportunity to travel to and study in Thailand again this fall, and plans to continue her education with a degree in Alternative Medicine from Everglades University.
Patty is a graduate of Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. She is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal Massage, Bellanina Facelift Massage and Health Ministry for Nutrition and Natural Living. Her training and practice also include Medical Massage with Dr. Ross Turchaninov (The Science of Massage Institute), Neuromuscular Massage, Geriatric Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Face, Neck & Cranium Headache Relief, TMJ and Ayurvedic Hand and Foot Massage.
Along with her certification in Bellanina Facelift Massage, Patty has been trained in Ezzi-lift photodynamic facial treatment by Avazzia and Redefine Macro Exfoliation. All are Non-Invasive Anti-aging treatments for a more youthful appearance. She is passionate about a natural approach to wellness, healing and a youthful appearance.
With a degree in teaching, Patty enjoys educating the public about the benefits of massage and natural living. She has been involved in the assisted living industry for the past 14 years, first as a volunteer and later as Life Enrichment Director.
She has earned “The President of the United States Volunteer Award”, and as the Life Enrichment Director, earned the company-wide “Legend of Honor Award” for her performance. Senior citizens hold a special place in Patty’s heart. She is dedicated to continuing her education and believes that we can never stop learning how to advance in this field.
Mary Ann has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2009 after graduating from the Wellness and Massage Training Institute in Illinois. She holds certifications in Neuromuscular Massage (cNMT), Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD/C), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), and Integrative Pregnancy Massage.
Mary Ann provides personalized treatments based on client need using multiple modalities such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point massage. She is currently a student of Dr. Ross Turchaninov and will complete her Medical Massage certification in 2017. In addition, she enjoys providing relaxation treatments such as Swedish and Reflexology.
Mary Ann is also a Registered Facial Specialist (Esthetician) practicing since 2010. She enjoys helping clients treat their skin and believes skin treatments do not have to be extreme to be effective.
Prior to becoming a Massage and Skincare Therapist, Mary Ann earned a B.A. in Chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical, personal care and nutritional supplement industries. She feels greatly blessed to have been able to make her career change and loves helping her clients heal through touch therapy.
Mary Ann is Nationally Certified (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage), a Certified Member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and a Professional Member of Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP). She is committed to furthering her knowledge of massage and skincare treatments because 1) it will enable her to better care for her clients and 2) it’s fun!
Kiel is a graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in Oaks, PA, and has over a decade of experience in medical massage therapy. Nationally certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals), Kiel is also accredited in Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy. Additional education the Kiel has completed include Low Back Injuries, Neck and Back Pain, and Massage for Fibromyalgia. One of Kiel’s areas of interest is massage therapy for cancer patients, and he is proficient in using massage to alleviate cancer-related symptoms. He has also worked as a chair massage vendor at a Living Beyond Breast Cancer Conference and other large-scale healthcare events.
For ten years, Kiel and his wife, Sylvia, owned and operated La Paz Salon in Lansdale, PA, where he practiced award-winning massage therapy. In Pennsylvania, Kiel also worked as a massage therapist in a chiropractic office. Kiel and Sylvia have recently relocated to the Bradenton area where Kiel continues to offer the best in massage care.
Highly skilled, Kiel is committed to delivering the best care possible to his clients, who have included high school swimmers, breast cancer survivors and medical professionals. Very knowledgeable about the benefits of massage, Kiel also maintains a website and monthly massage therapy blog. Kiel adapts massage therapy modalities and techniques to the needs of each individual, and has helped many clients achieve better health.
Sally is a recent graduate of the Manatee Technical Institute Massage Therapy program (750 hrs) and is a professional member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). Her continuing education is taking her in the direction of Neuromuscular, Myofascial, and Medical massage modalities with a passion for service to those overcoming obstacles.

Misa graduated from the 750 hour Massage Therapy program at Manatee Technical College. She completed her coursework with Honors and is a professional member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Studies from Bunkyo University, Japan. Born and raised in Japan, her environment consisted of keeping the balance of Mind, Body and Spirit in daily ritual.
In her first year of practice, Misa has already taken continuing education classes, getting certification in pre-natal massage and training in Medical Massage. Misa’s intention for her work is to create a respite from the stress filled world, leaving each client rejuvenated and with an increased sense of wellbeing. She is determined to help people with muscle and stress related pain. She manipulates and tailors her sessions for individual needs.
Misa takes a whole health approach to massage by understanding how massage encourages total health in the mind and body when relaxation and comfort are achieved. She joins other MTC therapists who believe in lifelong education, and is constantly learning something new, whatever the subject might be.
Misa moved to Florida from Japan just over 15 years ago. She enjoys the beauty of Gulf Coast and happy to call Sarasota County her home. When not working, Misa enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
Sharon has been a Clinical Massage Therapist for over 10 years, and in the fitness and wellness industry for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1994 from Southern Illinois University, and her Clinical Massage Therapy diploma from The Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy in 2004.
Sharon’s approach to massage is functional. While she enjoys providing a relaxing Swedish Massage. Sharon can also assess posture/gait and is able to use special tests to determine the protocol of each session. Sharon’s techniques include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial, Sports and Swedish Massage. Like all MTC therapists, Sharon is passionate about continuing education and loves to learn. She believes comfort and education are key!

Lisa graduated from Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture in Boardman, Ohio with her diploma in Massotherapy and is a professional member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).
Massage comes natural to Lisa as she is divinely called to help people who are hurting. It is her passion to positively impact the lives of those who are entrusted to her care. She believes massage affects people on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. There is not a more defining moment in her career than when people leave her massage room feeling free of pain and of the stresses of life.
Lisa has experience in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, but believes learning and education are a life long process. It is her goal to become certified in as many modalities as possible to become more well-rounded and help as many different clients as possible. She has enrolled in Medical Massage education and participates in many in-house training sessions.
Her roots are in Ohio, but she is happy to call Florida home. In her day to day life, she enjoys church, spending time with her husband & dogs, participating in all things outdoors, health & wellness, volunteering, and sharing laughs with friends.

Cory received an Associate of Science and Natural Health degree with a concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage from Florida College of Natural Health in 2002. He graduated with additional certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage. Licensed in Massage Therapy since 2002, Cory has extensive experience in therapeutic and clinical bodywork.
Cory utilizes an integrated approach to produce the best outcomes possible. He is an ISFTA License Rehab Fitness Specialist. He has additional training in Craniosacral work, Trager Method, Orthopedic Massage and massage cupping techniques.

Karen is a graduate of Manatee Technical College in Bradenton, with a long standing practice as a licensed facial specialist. Upon receiving her license as a massage therapist, she continued her coursework earning her certification in Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, she is qualified to treat lymphedema, Lipedema, Phlebo-lymphostatic edema, Chronic Venous Insufficiencies, Post Traumatic Edema and help to alleviate discomfort from recent surgery or cosmetic treatments. She has also received training in Esalen Massage, a gentle therapeutic modality known for its healing and nurturing touch, incorporating slow and long flowing strokes, gentle rocking and detailed musculature work. Esalen Massage is designed to give the client a sense of deep relaxation and help to bring awareness to tension and holding patterns in the body.

Before becoming a licensed massage therapist, Duy (pronounced “Yee”) was a registered nurse in Pittsburgh, PA. The demands of nursing helped focus her desire to help people through therapeutic touch. She recently graduated top in her class from the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, and her zeal for learning doesn’t stop there. Currently she is working toward her medical massage therapy certification and hopes to attain her neuromuscular therapy certification as well. Duy is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and strives to obtain her Board Certification through NCTBMB as she gains experience in the profession.
Duy has lived in Sarasota since 2015 with her husband, very much enjoying the local charm and the sugar sand beaches of Siesta Key. She does bicycling, crocheting, and is an avid board and video gamer in her free time. Vladik Zalevskiy, LMT

Vladik studied Biology-PreMed at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia before moving to Florida and attending the Sarasota School of Massage therapy, becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist and a certified Neuromuscular Therapist. He is licensed with National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Having the opportunity to work at several different locations that included physical therapy and doctor’s offices, he has also worked in a luxury full service spa in Sarasota, where he acquired a wide spectrum of experience in both therapeutic and relaxation massage. Vladik has experience working with chronic pain management and pre/post surgery issues, but he also enjoys providing a relaxation and stress relief massage. Some of the techniques he utilizes include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching, Hot Stone, Migraine/Headache Relief and Cupping.
Prior to moving to Florida, Vladik served five years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two deployments to Iraq. Following his honorable discharge, he owned and operated a commercial construction company where he traveled all around the U.S. and decided there was no better place to live than Florida’s Gulf coast. His wife and three children love the water, beaches and the warm Florida sun!
